I've rented units here for a couple years now, and management has consistently gone downhill. I appreciate that there are more online functions now aside from bill-pay only, however the condition of the facility has been deteriorating since it was owned by McWirther/Mini-Mac. The units themselves are in good condition, and I rarely see any issues with the condition of the buildings. I have only noticed one unit that appeared to have a bad water leak (and was vacant for that reason) but that problem doesn't seem to be widespread, so your items will be safe here. Now onto the issues. We'll start with the first thing you'll notice... the gate gas been broken for well over two months now. It's broken before, but it was always fixed within a day. This is the longest I've ever seen it broken. Then the gravel... there are MASSIVE potholes, and a huge amount of erosion on one section of units that makes them practically inaccessible. This NEEDS to be fixed. I have bottomed out my cars multiple times, as it can be hard to even see where these potholes are when you're entering the facility. Be very careful driving through here if you're new. Then the landscaping, or lack thereof. For the longest time, I have horrible overgrowth of weeds and grass in front of my unit. Eventually it was cut, but that happened only one time. It's otherwise completely ignored. As far as pricing, they were competitive, but now it's about the same as any other place. Rates have increased now multiple times since the new owners took over, and the rate increased make no sense. The units still have no lighting inside (most facilities offer lighting), the dumpster that used to be available was removed, and all of the above issues still exist. Why are we paying more and receiving no upkeep whatsoever? Overall, if you're looking for affordable, easy to access storage in the area, I would still recommend ModBox, but be wary of these issues. Customer service seems spotty, but they do try. When I emailed on a weekend to close out a unit, they handled it very quickly, and I appreciate that. They didn't answer the phone initially, but I prefer to avoid phone calls and handle business over email or in person anyway.

It's literally a box with a lock. Not much to say. Though I would appreciate them fixing the drive, it's gor huge pot holes.
